L'Inde en quelques pierres
Various size, marble, analog photo-transfer
These sculptures are made with broken marble pieces collected in India. They are coming from a slum where workers live while building new homes for richer people.
The material used is the marble left over from the building site, on which analog photographs are manually photo-transfered. The photographs themselves are images of the people living in these slums, highlighting the humble ones on this precious material they disgard.
